Who's working on his campaign: Carol Brown Andrews, a longtime Democratic campaign operative who briefly worked on Linda Eskind Rebrovick's campaign during the ongoing mayoral race, is Gentry's campaign manager. Gentry is also getting help from Steven Turner, a former state House candidate in Nashville. Trippi & Associates, led by national Democratic political operative Joe Trippi, is managing media efforts. The Mellman Group, led by Mark Mellman, is doing Gentry's polling.
