"Crazy" idea as mayor: Linking roads and traffic lights in a single, interconnected grid that communicates with itself to ease traffic. The grid would be connected to real-time adaptive traffic lights. She says in Los Angeles this has reduced travel time by 14 percent.
Who's working on her campaign: Rebrovick has some of Dean's top strategists from eight years ago. That includes Mark Putnam, who led Dean's and former Gov. Phil Bredesen's television advertising, as well as Fred Yang, a partner with Garin Hart Yang Research, who has conducted polling for Dean, Bredesen and U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper. Rebrovick's campaign manager is Ally Letsky, who most recently oversaw spending for the House Majority PAC in Washington D.C. Emily Passini, a past political director of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, is among Rebrovick's senior advisors. Matt Griffin, an account supervisor at McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations, is Rebrovick's communications director.
